Should we plan now to expect season 1 to be short, hopefully at least doubling in size in the next few weeks for season 2?

Season 1 will be 30 games, Last 5 weeks, Playoffs an extra week. If the FA pool grows, rosters might be expanded and Season 2 will see more teams.
