Here is how the scoring will work in the league. Just like in Soccer, the winning team in each game will receive 3 points. If a team makes it to Overtime and loses, they will receive one point. In Season 1 since there is only going to be 4 teams, I have decided to have a 10 match day season where each team plays each team every match day which means 3 games per match day and 30 games in total, and also give the top 3 teams a spot in in the playoffs. The first place team receives a bye into the finals, and the second and third place teams will battle in a best of 7 series. The winner of that series will meet the first place team in another 7 game series to decide the champion. To make everything more dramatic, if there is a two way tie for a position, there will be a one game playoff to decide who gets the higher position, and in event of a three way tie or more, one game against each opponent round robin play will commence. If after that one round of round robin play the teams are still tied, the following tiebreakers will take place. All of these tiebreakers would take the round robin playoff games into account. Of course, this changes if we get more players/teams. Spread the word!
1) Higher number of wins
2) Better goal differential (GD)
3) Most goals score
4) Least goals allowed
5) Points in H2H games
6) One game playoff or another round robin playoff in event of three or more teams
